In addition to her role as an Advisory Board Member, Anne MacDonald serves as North Avenue Capital’s Senior Advisor on Rural Development and Strategic Partnerships. Ms. MacDonald is a policy consultant to Fortune 100 companies and a Senior Advisor to Texas A&M University’s School of Agricultural Economics. Over the course of 10 years, she has worked in the White House, Pentagon, State Department, and post-Administration office of President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush, where she served as the Chief of Staff to the former First Lady. In these diverse roles, Ms. MacDonald has had a direct impact on rebuilding communities after natural disasters and various conflicts.
After leaving the Bush Administration, Anne MacDonald lived and worked in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where she developed programs in agriculture and education for people living with HIV and Tuberculosis. She serves on the board of AgriCorps, a Texas-based non-profit that sends American agricultural experts to help increase the incomes of farmers in Ghana and Liberia.
