Justin Gamble joined North Avenue Capital as a Commercial Lender in November 2022, specializing in the solar and renewable energy industry. In early 2023, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Commercial Lender. He helps lead NAC’s lending efforts in the USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).
The Houston native has 17 years of finance and business ownership experience. Before coming to NAC, Gamble was an entrepreneur, starting four small businesses, including Antler Technologies, which specialized in designing and building custom solar-powered camera systems and off-grid solar generators.
Prior to being a small business owner, Gamble served as an investment banker for six years at Cynergy Advisors, an investment banking firm for energy-focused and energy-related businesses. As an investment banker, he closed $330 million in structured debt. Before that, Gamble was a registered banker and financial advisor at Wells Fargo for nearly four years. While working in finance, he passed the CFA Level 1, Series 7, and Series 66 exams.
Gamble earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas State University in 2008. He plans to attend graduate school to study business administration at the University of Florida in the spring of 2024.
He recently served as the chair-elect on the board of directors for the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce in League City, Texas. He is active in his local community and is involved in multiple networking and church groups. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, watching sports, cooking, fishing, playing tennis, barbecuing, listening to country music, and watching the Houston Astros.
